Is the call a sales call?
It is a working session on your job, in your own account. At the end we tell you whether your volume needs Pro or the free plan covers you, and if the free plan covers you, that is the answer you will get.
Why is it free?
Because a shop that watches its own job nest can decide in 20 minutes. If Lapas is not a fit, you still keep the layout.
What do I need to have ready?
A DXF of a job you already cut, the plate size, and how many plates it took. A computer with a browser; there is nothing to install.
What does Lapas cost after the call?
The free plan is $0 with no expiry and no credit card: unlimited nesting and re-nesting, no cap on parts per job, and 5 project exports a month. Pro is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually, plus VAT where applicable, and adds unlimited exports, full project history and priority support.
Does it work in inches?
Yes. Plate size and part spacing can be entered in inches or millimetres. One thing we have not checked is how the exported DXF and the PDF report label their units, so glance at that on your first job rather than taking it on trust.
What if the time I booked stops working?
The confirmation email has a link to reschedule or cancel. No need to write to us.
